Meet Jenna
My journey began in Japan as an English teacher, where I witnessed firsthand how cultural exchange can transform lives. That experience ignited a passion that has fueled a 30-year career dedicated to making global learning accessible and meaningful.
I carried that commitment into my role as Director of International Education at a public university in Wisconsin, where I spent decades shaping opportunities for students to connect with the world. I both administered and oversaw study abroad and away programs, custom experiences for visiting groups, international student advising, and immigration compliance. My work also included recruitment, intensive English programming, and building strategic partnerships—such as the National Student Exchange, a school-of-record arrangement, and a state-to-state student exchange. Along the way, I developed internationalization plans and frameworks to manage risk and compliance.
But what mattered most to me was championing affordable study abroad programs.
I have worked tirelessly to ensure that even students with the greatest financial need can participate, challenging myths about affordability.
Now, I invite you to join me in making impactful, affordable global internships a reality for U.S. university students. Together, we can open doors to the world.
